Ullerup performed the role of Julia Brynn in the 2006 remake of Battlestar Galactica, which was broadcast by Sci Fi Channel. Ullerup played Ashley Magnus on the Sanctuary TV series during its initial and second seasons, until the show was cancelled. The fans were furious over her departure and wanted to see her return in future seasons. Sanctuary ended 2012, but not before an intense discussion. In the year 2016, Ullerup was cast as Bree O'Brien in Chesapeake Shores. Ullerup appeared as Maggie Thomas, the estranged spouse of Michael Thomas, in the film about the disaster Asteroid: Final Impact (2015). Ullerup was Dale Travers, a recurring role within Hallmark's Signed, Sealed, Delivered films from 2016 until present.
