Kellie Martin, an American film and television actress popular for her role in the roles of Christy Huddleston in the period drama series 'Christy Christy', Rebecca Thatcher in the family drama 'Life Goes On' and Lucy Knight in the medical drama 'ER'. Her other notable roles include being the main character in the 'Hailey Dean Mystery' series. Martin began her acting career at the age of was seven years old. The aunt of her mother, who was the nanny of actor Michael Landon's children, assisted her in landing an unimportant role in the television series Father Murphy. Following her graduation from Yale University, she took acting more seriously and landed substantial roles, both on the small and the big screen. Martin is, in addition to acting, she is also a skilled photographer as well as a ballet dancer. Martin's sister, who died due to Lupus at the age of 19, was the inspiration behind her becoming the Lupus the national spokesperson.
