Aisha Hinds
Aisha Jamila Hinds is an American actress best known for her roles on the TV series 'The Shield' and 'True Blood'. She has shown her versatility every since her TV debut at the age of 23 in 2003. Her performances have been exceptional in shows such as "9-1-1", "Detroit 1-8-7" as well as "Under the Dome". The first time she was noticed was for her role as Anna in the 2005 movie 'Assault on Precinct 13'. Her role in the biographical film 'All the Way', as feminist activist Fannie Louhamer earned her fame for her acting. Hind's role as Harriet Tubman on WGN America's historical drama "Underground" was also highly acclaimed. She currently stars on the procedural drama series '9-1-1' in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta "Hen" Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed the show for a brand new season. Hind was recently able to wrap filming for the Hollywood film 'Godzilla: King of the Monsters,' which is due to release in the middle of 2019.
